Kayleys first birthday and Halloween...

A few weeks back we celebrated Kayleys first birthday! I can't believe she is one already. Kayley is the most precious little girl in the whole world. She has the best personality a baby could have. We are so thankful for our little princess. Kayley, thank you for all the happy moments you brought to us and those around you this first year of your life.

Kayley's b-day is the day before halloween so here are some halloween pictures as well.

What is the Exercise science BS?

I have had quite a few people ask me what exactly the Exercise Science degree is all about. I looked up the description for the major on BYU's web site and this should help those to better understand.

Program Purpose

The Exercise Science program is designed to prepare students for entry into graduate school in one of the disciplines related to exercise science or medical, dental, nursing, physician assistant, physical or occupational therapy, optometry, podiatry, homeopathic medicine, or chiropractic school. Study of the exercise sciences conveys a healthy-lifestyle and preventive-medicine health care perspective.

well there you have it. Hope this helps!

Serena is a missionary!

This week my little sister Serena entered the Missionary Training Center. She will spend 9 weeks studying the Bulgarian language and studying scriptures before she is sent to serve in her country. Serena is amazingly talented, passionate and devoted to the Savior. She will be a great missionary.

Laurie, Kayley and I shopped for last minute items at the missionary mall etc. We enjoyed dinner with her at the Chiles restaurant in Orem. Jang, Becky, John, Christine and Michael were able to join us. Then the next day Marcus, Becky, Laurie, Kayley and I were able to say goodbye to our dear Serena at the MTC.

Trip to visit Justin and Jill

Last week Alyssa, Brittany, Daniel and I had the opportunity to visit Justin and Jill and their family in California. We had a wonderful time playing at the beach together and barbequeing back at the pad. It was good to see Justin and Jill and reminisce about the days of growing up in Ramah. At the beach we enjoyed the hot weather and clear blue skies while throwing a football, playing some smash ball and of course riding some waves. I think the majority of us got a little too much sun and definitely felt it the next day. Alyssa and I also went to another beach that was lot less sandy, but beautiful in it's own way. We chased down crabs and other sea creatures, along with finding a star fish. I tried to get him off the rock but he was a lot stronger than I was. Our intentions were to do a little scuba diving or snorkeling, both of which we were unable to do sadly. But we will save that for another trip. I imagine the ocean will wait for us. Thanks Justin and Jill for letting us hang out and for showing us a good time. We love you guys!
