HAPPY EASTER!

We didnt get to really enjoy Easter because Alyssa and Kayley have the flu. Kind of a bummer, but Kayley did get a gift from her nana and papa ray. She was really excited for her pink bunny. She immediately began to try and eat it. Here are some pics of that. Also, the other day Alyssa and I took Kayley to meet my mission president and his wife. We had a great time being with them. They loved Kayley and even offered to watch her sometimes if we need it.

Alyssa really loves Korean food. We always went to Touch of Seoul when she was pregnant with Kayley. Now that Kayley is born, she is always adored by the workers at the restaurant. The waitress carries Kayley around with her while she is working so Alyssa and I can enjoy our food. They get so excited every time we walk in the front door.

Fun with Matt and Sarah

It has a been a little while since I have added some pictures. Over the past week Sarah, Alyssa's sister and her husband Matt stayed with us. We enjoyed having them here. They were a big help during a big week full of midterms for alyssa and me. We also had the chance to go to bridal falls and check out the scenery. Matt and i braved the hike of ice. Or as Matt put it, "the ice mountain of death" lol Here a some pictures from the visit.

Family gathering

This past Saturday we had the opportunity to attend the baptism of Shaylie, my aunt Lani's daughter. Congratulations to her. We got to hang out with a lot of family. It was good to see everyone! Afterwards we hung out with Brittany and Daniel. We played Rock Band for a few hours on their PS3. It was good to see them too. Here are a few pictures from the event.

Just a few more snowboard pictures

I went boarding again with a friend yesterday and got a couple more pictures. The season has been really good this year with all the snow we have had.

Kayley and her second cousins

Alyssa and I took the baby out to see her great aunt Leslie and uncle Heath in Highland. We got some good pictures of Kayley with her cousins. Kayley was a little fussy that night so hopefully next time we go out there she will show a little more of her funny personality. She is giggling more and more, and most of the time you can make her smile really easily. We also have some pictures of her in the dress that her aunt Leslie bought her.

Living in Utah...can be pretty fun

Here are just a few pictures I have from the Sundance resort. My friend Paul is in the white and red jacket and my friend Rudy is in the white and blue jacket. I am in the green jacket. we went boarding on Thursday which was a lot of fun. The nice fresh snow made it well worth the muscle soreness that I am experiencing now. Snowboarding is a huge full body workout. I know I said in the last post that I would not be doing a black diamond run for a while... but...I did one on Thursday. Yeah, that was a workout for sure. I told Paul once we got to the bottom that that was more work than it was fun. He agreed. We then made our way back to the intermediate slopes! LOL. I will soon get a video posted too, and of course some more pictures. Remember, you can click on the pictures to make them BIGGER.

New Happy Kayley

It has been a while since we added a post. Sorry about that, just busy as usual. But I have a moment to update before I head to class. Kayley is getting bigger of course, and is getting a little personality more and more. She is smiling all the time and even giggles sometimes! Yesterday Alyssa and I took her to the mall and while strolling along a lady at the Kiddie Kandids place asked if she could take some pictures of Kayley. She offered us a free 8x10 if we let her. Kayley was in a good mood so we said what the heck and did it. The pictures came out great! We had the place email all the pictures to us so that we could have them in case we wanted to buy prints. The pictures you see here are some of the poses. She is surely our little princess.

School is going well. Same old thing of course. My snowboarding class is a lot of fun. I will post some pictures and videos of that soon. I am to the point were I can board down the intermediate slopes. I am one level down from the black diamonds. I wont be attempting that for a while though. It is a great feeling once you get to the top of a mountain and look around. The view is amazing! Then, tearing down the side of the mountain is even a better feeling. Its amazing to look up the mountain and say to yourself , "wow, I just came down that on a board!" What a fun skill. Alyssa is getting geared up to go as well. hopefully I can get some pics posted soon.

Alyssa and I are planning on going down to Ramah in a few weeks. It will be nice to get a break from school. I am sure Nana and Papa Ray are excited to see Kayley. We just hope the weather is good so that we can make it down safe.
