Fun times at the zoo

We took Kayley to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake on tuesday. It was a lot of fun. Kayley loved to look at the animals, but for some reason when they would look at her she would get scared and start crying! But as long as they were minding their own business she would laugh and point at them. We saw lots of really neat animals, as you would expect from visiting a zoo. One I would like to mention is the white alligator. There are only 10 to 12 in existence. They also do not reproduce so when they die, they will be extinct. Anyway, hope you all enjoy the animal pictures!

Over the past couple of days Alyssa and I, along with our families, have been celebrating graduating from BYU. We appreciate all the help and support we have received from family members and friends throughout our journey here at the Y. Alyssa, thanks for all your support. You have truly helped me in my efforts. I love you so much!

No, I think I will just sleep right here!

So Kayley would start crying every time I attempted to put her in her crib for her nap. So, I finally gave up and decided to let her play some more out in the living room. After about 5 minutes went by I came into the living room and this is what I saw!

9 months old!

Kayley turned nine months old on the 30th of July. It is absolutely amazing how fast Kayley is growing up. I have learned that I NEVER want to wish any stage of her life to be over with. (You know, like, she's only 2 months old, I wish she was a year so she could walk. Or, I wish she knew how to drink out of a bottle already etc.) It will go too fast anyway. Every stage in her life is special!
