The Holidays in TN

Albuquerque, Balloon Fiesta, etc

With Michael's crazy school schedule, any time we get together as a family is precious. The children and I have been stuck in the house for a couple of weeks as we have all been ill. Kayley was ecstatic to get out and play. She loved visiting with her cousins. We stayed with Brittany and Daniel who are among her best friends as well. Kayley was so excited to see the "very big balloons" at the balloon fiesta on Saturday. She was afraid of the fireworks at first but comforted by her Nana. Kayley and Liam were also able to visit with their grandma Claudia who was visiting from Texas. We all enjoyed the tasty funnel cakes...but not quite as much as the children did. Zack, Caitlyn and Kayley were the funnel cakes biggest fans.

Vacation to Tennessee

For the past little while we have been in TN enjoying a small break from school. We had a great time hanging out with family. Alyssa was able to see her siblings and of course Grandma and Grandpa were able to see Kayley and Liam.

While in TN we had the opportunity to stay at a really nice, relaxing resort called Oak Haven. We also did some boating, went fishing, and took a trip to Dollywood. I have been to many amusement parks and this is among the best! The rides are great, the scenery is amazing and the location makes for plenty of shade. Alyssa and I had a great time there with her siblings and their spouses and Alyssa's step father Ellis. We took a few pictures while at the park and I also snuck my camera on one of the roller coasters and shot a video. Be sure to check that out!
